Through individual counselling, group therapy, play therapy and reflexology, we address the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of sexually abused children throughout the Cape Peninsula.

Children who have been traumatised need an environment where they feel safe to express feelings of hurt, anger and pain. This is vitally necessary for their recovery. At our Childline centres, we offer children a private space in which to communicate their pain. Trained Childline counsellors provide a sensitive environment in which children are encouraged to express themselves in a creative manner. With children, often feelings of hurt and anger are not articulated in words but can be expressed through actions and movement, and play with water, sand and well-chosen toys.
